Eye color is a manifestation of the pigment that is
present in the iris. Brown eyes are rich in melanin deposits, and blue eyes indicate
a lack of melanin. The Melanocytes of the iris rest in a richly innervated Psuedosyncytium,
which is necessary to maintain eye color.
Heterochromia iridium (two different-colored eyes within
a single individual) and Heterochromia iridis (a variety of color within a
single iris) are relatively rare in humans and result from increased or
decreased pigmentation of the iris.
One of the most interesting examples of this case is Amit
and Pavan Agrawal from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This case is different than another
because AMIT AGRAWAL has BROWN eye in the right and blue on the left. Conversely,
Pavan Agrawal has blue eye on the right and brown on the left and interestingly
non of their family has Blue nor brown eyes.
These brothers also hold several records which are;
'' LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS - 2009 ''
'' INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS - 2012 "
" UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS - 2013 "
" ASSIST WORLD RECORDS - 2013 "
" MIRACLES WORLD RECORD - 2013 "
" Asia Book Of Record - Conform - 2013 "
I’m not entirely sure whether this is the case of
Heterochromia iridium, Heterochromia iridis or purely miracle which happen ones
out of billions
