Our
earth will not last forever, while we rely on the earth to survive. We will all
perish when the earth was destroyed by various causes. Sounds frightening, but
we need to realize that the earth's resources are limited. The use of the
earth's resources at random, as now, could lead to an end in the destruction of
human life.
Scientists
speculate on changes in the composition of the earth, whether it is about
global warming or the mineral resource that has begun to decline. Let us
examine how we are slowly but surely towards the destruction made by our own
hands.
So
how are our future and the world we live in is? Here are the facts:
1.
Global warming is an inevitable event that affects the Earth's climate.
Devastating hurricane, tidal wave, tsunami and hunger caused by drought will
continue despite efforts to control pollution and environmental damage has been
done. Earth trying to continue to make improvements to exist naturally, but we
humans will accept the consequences due process, it is very powerful and
uncontrollable.
2. A
small increase in the Earth's rotation caused imbalance stomach contents of the
womb of the earth is depleted, it can affect us in many ways. Devastating
floods that drowned everything, or the glaciers disappear forever. That could
mean a lack of water, food and rampant disease and hunger spread. Some plant
and animal species became extinct.
3.
Changes in land use patterns, which are now more and more people live in cities
than in rural areas. Crowded cities and should extend to residential areas to the
rural areas at the expense of agricultural land. Big city slums and dirty
interfere with human health and cause new diseases seeds.
4.
Oil production increased in 2008 and 2018 will reach its peak, and that means
the beginning of the decline. This could trigger a recession in global energy,
conflicts between states vying for oil field and also a source of food. Oil is
very important for every nation to resume production activities, including
agriculture and animal husbandry. Going forward, the depletion of oil content
in the earth could affect the lives of all humans on earth significantly.
5.
The car has a share of 3/4 of all the flue gases emitted transportation. Since
this time, the world will be filled with more than one billion cars roaming the
streets in 2030 and will grow to a billion again in 2050. It relates to the 75%
increase in atmospheric CO2 over the past year comes from burning fossil fuels
(petroleum, natural gas and coal), while about 20% of the CO2 that enters the
Earth's atmosphere from the combustion of fuel in motor vehicle engines, the
remaining 80 % of CO2 emissions come from the burning of fossil fuels by power
generating machinery.
6.
Since the temperature increase due to CO2 meningkanya, the last bit of moisture
in the air to form clouds. This means that rain will be minimal, and directly
resulted in agricultural production also declined. Will occur around the year
2020 in which there was a difficult period and flood suddenly increased in all
parts of the continent of Europe, due to melting ice in the Arctic. While the
world population will reach 7.7 billion people.
7.
Since the first Earth Day in 1970 until the beginning of the new millennium,
humans have created an increase in emissions (exhaust gas) by 70% greenhouse.
8.
The Earth's atmosphere now contains 40% more CO2 than at the beginning of the
Industrial Revolution.
9.
The burning of fossil fuels today add almost 6 billion tons of CO2 into the
earth's atmosphere each year. Only half of these were absorbed by forests and oceans.
10.
Rainforests once covering 14% of the earth's surface. Now only about 6%, and
according to estimates by experts remaining rainforests will be consumed less
than 40 years. 1 to 1.5 acres of rainforest disappear every 1 second as the
tragic consequences of development in industrialized countries and developing
countries.
11.
Nearly half of all species of flora, fauna and micro-organisms will be
destroyed or endangered certainly in the next quarter century due to rain
forest logging.
12.
Experts estimate that we are losing 137 species of plants, animals and insects
every day due to logging of rain forests. Or equal to 50,000 annually. Along
with the disappearance of the species in the rainforest, as well as a variety
of medical diseases that threaten human life. Currently, 121 prescription drugs
sold worldwide come from plant medicines. Meanwhile, 25% of pharmaceutical
companies in the West take the ingredients of the herb plants from the rain
forest, and less 1% of the trees and tropical plants have been tested by
scientists.
13.
Rampant deforestation currently accounts for 20% of global warming pollution
caused by inhibition of the re-absorption of CO2.
14.
Outbreaks of the disease continues to increase both range and number of air
pollution, water and soil increases, particularly occur in countries with low
incomes.
15.
In 2030, approximately 18% of the cluster of coral reefs will disappear because
of climate change and the environment. In 2030 the population of the world
population will reach 8.3 billion.
16.
In 2040 the Arctic sea will experience the first summer without ice.
17.
Because of the disappearance of glaciers and going the long dry season, the
production of electricity from hydroelectric power will decrease.
18.
Vast desert on the Earth's surface has increased due to rising global
temperatures. At the end of 2007, Australia lost 25% of food production because
of this.
19.
Levels of carbon monoxide (CO) in the atmosphere continue to rise.
20.
The harmful effects of human activities can affect the global system in a
negative way. War, for example, can destroy the Earth in various ways; mass
murder, starvation and disease development, combustion of fossil fuels on a
large scale by war machines, including deforestation and taking rocks and soil
for restoration of infrastructure damaged.
A
question for all of us, whether our efforts to helping our environment today
can provide a meaningful and significant impact, or the irony of our other
activities actually accelerate damage and destruction of the earth?
where do you get this fact? you make it? or from someone else?
