Real Fact about the Kingdom of Crystal Skulls

There is a native American legend that says the 13 human skulls made of crystals that can talk and sing. According to the legend, these crystal skulls contain the answers to some mysteries of the world and life. Legend also says that one day, when mankind suffered a major crisis, the 13 skulls will be rediscovered and once again gathered to provide knowledge and information vital to mankind. 

When I first heard the legend above, we imagine a film, Indiana Jones, The kingdom of the crystal skull. But few know that the film is based on a real legend. As real as real in Central America have discovered a human skull made of crystal. 

Crystal skulls were first discovered in the ruins of the Mayan city and buried deep in the dense forest. In 1924, English explorer Frederick Mitchell-Hedges and his colleagues are adventurous, trying to find the remains of the legendary city of Atlantis in Belize, Central America. One day, when they were walking through the woods, they found a mound of rocks covered in thick grass and bushes. The rest is history. Scientific Perspective

Dr Jane Walsh is a leading specialist in the Mesoamerican world who are working for the Smithsonian Institute. And this time, he was the owner of one of the crystal skulls. He theorized that the skull was probably made in the 19th century to satisfy demand for antiques. But Dr Walsh himself has no evidence to support his theory.

Dr Walsh tried to conduct further studies of the skull to determine its origin. One of the obstacles he faces are carbon crystals do not have, because it's impossible to keep track of the age of the skull with carbon method. For scientists, the skull is probably an unsolved mystery. But for indigenous tribes in America, the skull was not a mystery.
